According to JETRO's 2024 Survey on Japanese Companies Operating Overseas | North America Edition, three out of the top four "management challenges" cited by Japanese companies in the U.S. were related to employment:

Additionally, the report indicates that a significant number of companies recognize a shortage of IT talent as a severe issue.
